About time I made a sticky post here.


You might previously have known me as damned_colonial. I no longer use that journal, so if you're subscribed to it you may as well take it off your reading list. However, I've left it as an archive and you can still find my older stuff there. The sticky post on that journal includes links to fic and vids.

This journal (skud) is primarily a non-fannish journal; I occasionally post about fan-related things I do under this name (eg. conventions, related activism/advocacy work, etc.), but I won't be posting any specifically fannish creations or detailed fannish discussion. If you know me through fandom you're more than welcome to follow me here, but if you're hoping to see fanworks then you're in the wrong place.

This journal receives crossposts from a couple of my non-DW blogs, including infotropism_feed and oeconomist_feed. Feel free to comment on those syndicated posts here or on the original blogs, whichever you prefer. I also post original (non-syndicated) stuff here.



I subscribe to people I want to read regularly in this format, and unsubscribe if I'm not reading you regularly or our interests diverge. Even if I'm not subscribed to you here, I might be reading you via another account, via RSS, or by visiting your journal occasionally, so it doesn't really mean much.

You should feel welcome to subscribe to me if you want to read my stuff. No need to ask or tell me.

So far, I haven't been posting anything access locked on this journal. If/when I do, I'll grant access at that time.
